How CAR makes a difference
Our role is to support the view of cancer patients, their carers and their families. To ensure that people know that we are here to provide support, to raise awareness and to influence change.
We are represented on a number of local and regional cancer service planning committees. We therefore work very closely with clinicians and professionals to ensure that we influence change. Support decision making and remain involved with a range of cancer research. We take the views of our members and ensure that these are represented at a wide range of local and regional cancer service planning committees. This means that the planning process is informed and strongly influenced by all of Rotherham diverse communities.
